| Fall of 2006, I realized that we would soon be here 10 years, and that I've hated our bathroom every bit of those 10 years. I could never decide what I really wanted to do in there, so I did nothing. For 10 years...nothing. I'd always loved muralled rooms and the art of trompe loeil, so since I'd not painted seriously since high school I decided that muralling my bathroom was the best way to jump back in. I questioned my sanity during a few points. |

I did all of this relatively cheaply, as most things were bought on clearance or at yard sales and just revamped with a castely flair. Some of the little touches...
What amazes me is that someone had the original
displayed in their home.
It was fine before, but way too light and plain for
my tastes.
Pertiful and surprisingly cheap.
Love the towel racks.

My childhood dresser. It was around before I came
along and it's been mine for as long as I can remember. Cleaned up nicely.

In the end, I learned that with alot of practice and patience, that muralling is something I'd like to pursue further. Wish me Luck!
