Day 2
Cumberland Gap

Friday morning we made our way south to Cumberland Gap.
The morning started out quite foggy, but it was a very pretty drive.

Especially once the fog cleared & the mountains showed up in the distance!

The path up to the overlook and the cool rock formations we hung out at for a while. Next time we'll have a picnic in the rock niche.

The breathtaking view from atop Pinnacle Overlook, overlooking Virginia, Tennessee & Kentucky. We had a nice picnic up here at the overlook. It felt like we on top of the world.


The grand view...to the left is VA, the mid-section is TN and to the right is KY.

Where I want to live...after they add a small tower to the left end of the house.
