Logan's Castle

Logan is my little rennie boy. We share a love/fascination/obsession for castles and many aspects and fantasies of the medieval/gothic/medieval worlds. Since he could talk, he's been promising to build me a castle one day. In the hopes that I will indeed be the recipient of atleast a castle tower, I created for Logan a castle of his own. It was the first time I've attempted to paint since my late teens. He picked out the type of stones and grout he wanted, as well as what he wanted for the murals. He really likes ruins, which is where the idea for the broken walls came from. Once I can comfortably reach the top of the high wall, a dragon peering in a missing stone will be the finishing touch. He loves it and can't wait to show guests that he has the coolest room of all the 9 yr olds he knows.
